"Farmer, Father Extraordinaire"

 Hi, my name is Leon Caldwell and I have spent the better part of my life growing good stuff that everyone likes. No chemicals, no pesticides, no herbicides, nor man-made products, no short-cuts, and very little rest to bring natural healing gifts of nature to your door. 

 In 1987 I was one of the first people certified organic in the state of Texas. We developed a fertilizer which contains a full spectrum of vitamins and minerals that contribute to the wonderful flavor and effectiveness of our products. We never use common manures or waste products. We recently introduced botanical algae, which accelerates the growth and health of the plants, without compromising our commitment to growing organic produce. Our vegetables taste good! And our herbs work! If you haven't tried them already, make it a point to come by either Saturday or Sunday market and check it out.

 I've raised 5 AMAZING kids  by myself during this long venture. I was dad and mom. It's been a long, beautiful/difficult road but it has all, by the grace of God, worked out. They are pretty much grown now and are all doing very well. My four girls and one boy helped out a lot while they were growing up. Little hands can do a lot when they have to. The girls are pursuing other professions (teaching, nursing, cosmetologist) and my son, with a degree in Ag. business, will be who I pass the proverbial baton to when I "retire".
